New Lazeez Hotel & Restaurant

If you walk down Belilious Road in Howrah, you will find us at number 362. We are right across from the Sales Tax Building, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. New Lazeez Hotel & Restaurant is usually full of noise from the kitchen and the street outside. Howrah is a crowded place, and our corner of it is no different. We spend the mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure the tables are wiped down. There is always a lot of steam in the air when the big pots are boiling. We also have rooms for people who need to stay over, so there is a mix of diners and overnight guests. The 711101 area is very industrial and busy, so we get a lot of workers and people finishing up their errands at the government offices nearby. Sometimes the orders get backed up and it’s a bit of a rush to get everything out, but we manage. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or anything. It is mostly just about the food and the beds. People come in, eat their fill, and head back out into the heat. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the Sales Tax Building is still there and we are still here across from it, doing our daily shift.
