Akash Hotel

Our hotel is tucked away at 17 I C Bose Road, which is very close to the station. Being near the railway means there is always noise and people running around with luggage. We have been here for years, and the building shows its age a little, but it’s sturdy. People stay with us because they need a place to sleep that isn't too far from their train. The rooms are basic. We have beds, fans, and the usual stuff you expect when you aren't looking for luxury. The 711101 area is always crowded, so finding a quiet moment is rare. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after guests and making sure the water is running. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us running the front desk and the cleaning. We don't have a fancy lobby or a gym. It’s just a place to put your bags down and rest. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day of traveling. We see all kinds of people, from salesmen to families visiting relatives. We don't make any big promises, we just give you a key and a room. The neighborhood is busy, so you can find whatever you need just by walking outside. It’s a practical place for people who are on the move. We just keep the doors open and the lights on for whoever shows up. It’s not a vacation resort, just a solid place to stay for a night or two.
