Hotel Saket

We are located at 23 Mukhram Kanoria Road. The pin code is 711101, which is over in the Howrah area. This part of town is incredibly busy. There are old buildings everywhere and the streets are always packed with people and all kinds of vehicles. Running a hotel like Hotel Saket here means dealing with a lot of noise and constant movement outside. The building we are in has been around for quite a long time. It has high ceilings and that old-fashioned feel that you only get in these parts of the city. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or fancy elevators. It’s a very basic place. We get people who are in town for business or just passing through the station area. The humidity here can be really tough during the summer months, so we do our best with the fans. I spend most of my day at the desk near the entrance. You see all sorts of people walking down Mukhram Kanoria Road. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just walk in because they see the sign. It’s a straightforward operation. We try to keep things honest and simple. There is a lot of history in these streets, and we are just one small part of it. We focus on the day-to-day tasks like keeping the rooms ready and making sure the water is running for everyone.
