Asish Hindu Hotel

Asish Hindu Hotel is located in the Gorabazar area of Howrah. Being on Dobson Road means we are always surrounded by the sounds of the city and the nearby station. We are quite close to the Ashoka Hotel. Our building isn't brand new, and it has some character from all the years. We serve simple meals to people who are usually in a hurry or working nearby. It’s not a place where you find fancy decorations. We have wooden tables and a kitchen that stays busy from early morning. We get the rice and vegetables from the market nearby every day. It’s a lot of carrying bags and sacks up the steps. The staff has been with us for a long time, and we all know what needs to be done without talking much. Sometimes the walls need a bit of paint, and the fans squeak, but it works for what we need. People come here because they know what they are going to get. It is honest food for a fair price. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming for years. We just keep the stove going and make sure there is enough for everyone who walks through the door. It is a simple life here, but it keeps us moving.
