Working at 616 Babu Bangali on the G.T Road is quite an experience because of all the traffic. Iceberg Services has been based here for a good amount of time. You can hear the trucks and cars honking all day long from outside. Our shop is filled with tools and different parts we need for the service jobs we take on. It’s often a bit messy, with boxes piled up and spare parts on the benches, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our hours either out on a call or here fixing things that people brought in. The G.T Road area is always moving, so there is never a dull moment. We usually have a kettle going for tea because it helps when the work gets a bit tiring. It’s not a shiny corporate office, and we like it that way. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the actual work to worry about that. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot, especially in the afternoons, so we just keep the fans running at full speed. It’s a local business, run by people who live nearby, and we just try to keep things moving steadily every single day. We don't have a big marketing team, just people telling their neighbors about us. It gets dark early in the winter.
