Shri Ganpati Marble

Our place is on Sheetla Mata Road, not too far from Utsav Garden. It's a busy part of town with a lot of construction going on all the time. Being in the marble business means our yard is always full of stone slabs from all over. We spend most of our time out in the sun, moving things around with the crane or by hand when we have to. It's a noisy, dusty environment, but that's what you expect when you're dealing with building materials. People usually drop by because they're looking for something specific for their flooring or maybe a bathroom. We aren't the type to follow you around with a clipboard. We just let you walk through the rows of marble and see what catches your eye. If you have a question, one of us is usually around to answer it, probably while we're in the middle of loading a truck. We've been near Utsav Garden for a long time, so we know the neighborhood and the other shop owners quite well. It's a straightforward way to make a living. We buy the stone, we keep it here, and we sell it to people who need it. There’s no secret to it. Every piece of marble is a bit different, so it's always interesting to see what comes in on the next shipment. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what a customer needs without too much fuss.
