We are located on Mata Road, right across from Utsav Garden. If you’ve ever walked or driven down this stretch, you probably saw all the stone and marble stacked up. That’s us. It’s a heavy business, literally. We spend our days moving large slabs around and making sure they don’t get chipped or cracked. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean; there’s always white dust from the marble on everything we own. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now, and we’ve seen Utsav Garden host plenty of parties while we’re over here unloading trucks. People come to us when they’re building a new house or maybe just fixing up a kitchen. They want to see the patterns in the stone for themselves, so we spend a lot of time showing them different pieces. We don’t have a fancy sales pitch or anything. We just show what we have in stock and let people decide. Sometimes we have to explain how one type of marble is harder than another, but it's all based on what we’ve seen over the years. It’s a lot of standing around in the yard and then a lot of heavy lifting when an order comes in. It’s hard work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. Mata Road can get quite busy, but we have enough space to manage our inventory without getting in the way too much.
