Hasija Marbles

Hasija Marbles is located at 479 Basai Road. It’s a pretty large open area where we keep all our stone. Basai Road is always busy with trucks and cars, so there’s a lot of dust and noise. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned showroom. It’s just the yard and a small cabin where we sit. We have rows of marble slabs standing up, and you have to walk through them to see the different colors and veins. Some of the pieces are very heavy, so we have a crane to move things around. It’s a physical job, and we are usually out there in the heat with the customers. We’ve been at this Basai Road address for years. People know us as a place to look for stone when they are building something. We don't use any high-tech sales gadgets. We just show you what we have and give you the price per square foot. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we tell people to wear sensible shoes. It’s just a normal, hardworking business. We keep our inventory stocked as much as possible. If you’re driving down Basai Road, you can’t miss the stacks of white stone out front. It’s just us here, doing our thing with the marble every day. It's honest work and we've been doing it for a long time now. We just take it one day at a time.
