Lalit Marble & Granites

The yard stays pretty dusty most days of the week. Being here on Main Mata Road, we get a lot of trucks passing by and kicking up dirt, but that is just how it is when you work with stone. We spend a lot of time moving these heavy slabs around the shop. It is not easy work, and your back really feels it after a few hours of loading and unloading granite. Most people who come by are just looking to fix up their kitchens or maybe put some new floors in. They spend a long time walking through the rows, touching the different surfaces and trying to see if the color looks right under the light. We have been sitting here near the Mata Mandir Road for a while now. Sometimes it is quiet and we just sit around and talk, but then a big delivery comes and everyone has to jump up. It is mostly just about keeping the inventory organized so people can actually see what we have. Sometimes the slabs have small chips or marks, but that is natural stone for you. It isn't like plastic. It has its own character. We try to keep the place tidy, but when you are cutting and moving marble all day, the mess just happens. You get used to the noise of the Lt. Atul Kataria Marg traffic. It is just a regular local spot where we get the job done and go home tired at night.
