Jai Baba Marble

We have been here at New Bhajgoda Chowk in Palam Vihar for a while now. Jai Baba Marble is basically where people come when they need slabs for their floors or maybe a kitchen counter. It’s a busy spot near the chowk, so we see a lot of folks stopping by just to look at what’s in stock. The yard has different piles of marble and stone, and it changes depending on what we get in. It gets pretty dusty out here, but that is just part of the job when you deal with stones. Usually, it's just us moving things around or helping someone figure out how many pieces they need for a room. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just the materials laid out so you can see the actual colors and veins in the rock. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move the heavy stuff, but we manage. If you are driving through Palam Vihar, you will probably see our sign. We keep things pretty straightforward. People ask for prices, we tell them what we have, and that is about it. I remember when we first moved into this spot, the ground was just dirt. Now it's packed down from all the trucks. Sometimes we have to spend hours just sorting the slabs because no two stones look exactly the same. It's a lot of manual labor, but it's what we know how to do.
