Delhi Italian Marble

Delhi Italian Marble is located in the Dlf City Sikander Pur Marble Market at Plot No 12. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s just rows and rows of stone slabs and a lot of white dust everywhere. Our plot is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend most of our time out in the yard moving these heavy pieces of marble around so people can see the patterns in the light. It’s hard work and your shoes are always white by the time you go home. We have all sorts of slabs leaning against the walls, and you have to be careful walking between them. The market gets really busy with trucks and tractors carrying stone, so it’s never really quiet around here. Sometimes we sit in the small cabin at the front to get away from the sun, but mostly we are out there with the stones. We don’t have any fancy brochures or sales talk. People just come in, look at what’s on the lot, and decide if they like the look of it or not. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. The sun reflects off the polished stone in the afternoons and it gets quite bright. We just keep the yard organized as much as we can and help the loaders when the trucks arrive. That’s how it goes every day at plot twelve in the marble market.
