Maa Karni Marbles

We are Maa Karni Marbles over on Sheetla Mata Road. If you know this road at all, you know it stays crowded with trucks and people most of the time. We spend most of our days moving heavy slabs and talking to folks who are building something new or maybe fixing up an old house in the area. Marble is heavy work and there is always white dust on everything we own. We don't mind it much though. We've been here a good while now. The yard isn't the cleanest place you'll ever see but that’s just the nature of working with stone all day. We keep a variety of stuff in stock in the back. Sometimes we have exactly what someone wants right away, other times they have to look through the stacks for a bit to find the right piece. It’s mostly just us here, keeping the place running. People come by, they look at the colors, they ask questions about the grain of the stone. We tell them what we know from our experience. It’s not like a showroom you'd see in a big city mall. It's just a local shop where we work hard. The sun beats down on the yard in the afternoon, making the stone hot to touch. We stay busy with the deliveries and the loading. It’s honest work and we like being on Sheetla Mata Road where all the action is. Usually we are here from morning until the sun goes down.
