We are out here on the Gurgaon Palampur Road, right in the heart of the Marble Market at 54 D. It is a big area with lots of competition, but we have been holding our own for a while. Our lot is filled with piles of granite and marble slabs of all different colors. It gets really dusty when the wind blows across the open ground, but that’s just how the market is. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the heavy slabs are secure. It takes a lot of strength and some careful crane work to move these things around without chipping the edges. Most of our customers are locals from Gurgaon or people driving in from nearby towns. We don't believe in using high-pressure sales tactics. We just let people walk around the yard and look at the stone themselves. If they have a question, we are usually sitting in the small shed nearby or helping someone load a flatbed truck. The sun hits the granite and really shows off the natural patterns, which is the best time to see it. Malani Marbles And Granites is a practical business. We deal with heavy stone and long hours, especially during the peak building seasons. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work and we have built some good relationships with the regulars over the years. We just take it one day at a time here.
