Silver Battery

Silver Battery is located right near the S.D.M Court on Dalhousie Road. It is a handy location since a lot of people pass by on their way to legal appointments or just heading into the center of town. We spend most of our time dealing with lead-acid smells and doing a lot of heavy lifting. The shop itself is not very large, so we have to stack the stock pretty high against the back walls. It is mostly just a counter and some metal shelves. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with old battery casings and cables lying around. We have been here long enough that most of the regular drivers on Dalhousie Road know where to find us if their car will not start. We do not do much advertising at all. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but it still does the job. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when everyone realizes their battery died overnight and they are in a hurry. We just test them, charge them up, or swap them out for a new one. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. The noise from the road is constant, so we end up shouting a bit over the traffic to hear each other. There is a small tea stall nearby that we go to twice a day. We are not trying to be some big corporation or a polished retail chain. It is just a few of us here.
