Sanjha Chullah

We’ve been running Sanjha Chullah here on Saili Road in Pathankot for a good while now. Our spot is right near the Truck Union, so as you can imagine, it gets pretty busy with all the drivers and workers coming in and out at all hours. It’s a simple place, nothing like those fancy restaurants you see in the big cities. We just have basic tables and chairs where people can sit down and have a meal. The noise from the trucks outside is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We open up early in the morning to get the tea going and the kitchen stays active until late at night. Most of our customers are locals or people passing through on their way to the hills. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from cooking to cleaning up. We buy our supplies from the local market every day to keep things moving. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try our best to keep it tidy. It’s just a regular eating joint where you can get some hot food and a bit of rest. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place that’s always there when you’re hungry. The menu doesn't change much, but people seem to like it that way. It’s just us doing our daily work.
