Kuchaikote Agragami Farmer Producer Company Limited

Kuchaikote Agragami is located in Dharhwalia, right in the Kuchaikote block. We operate out of Awadh Kishor Pandey’s place. It is a local setup for local people. Most of us involved in the company have been farming in this area since we were kids. We know the soil here in Dharhwalia pretty well. Setting up this producer company was just a way to bring everyone together so we could handle things better. It is not a polished operation. We have piles of papers and there is usually some mud on the floor from someone coming in from the fields. We don't mind though. It is more important that we get the work done. In Kuchaikote, farming is what keeps everything going, so we take it seriously even if we don't look like a typical business. We handle a bit of everything, from seeds to selling what we grow. It is a lot of trial and error. Some years are better than others, but we keep at it. We are just neighbors helping neighbors really. There is no corporate ladder to climb here. We just want to see the farms in our block doing okay. If you come by Dharhwalia, you will find us just doing our usual daily chores and planning for the next planting. We don't have any fancy mission statements, we just try to get the crops sold for a decent price.
