Pakhrauli Agro is run out of Ram Sundar Verma’s place in Pakhrauli, Sulanpur. It is a quiet spot, and most days you will just see people coming in and out with muddy boots after working their land. We don't really have a receptionist or a front desk. If you come by to see us, someone will probably just point you to the back where we sit and drink tea. We deal with whatever the season brings us, whether it is wheat, rice, or something else. The roads around here can get pretty bad when it rains, so getting things moved around takes way more time than it should. We are just a group of farmers who figured we might as well work together instead of everyone doing their own thing alone. It’s a lot of talking and sometimes we don’t agree on the details, but that is just how it goes in a small village like Sulanpur. We don’t have any big brochures or fancy websites to show people. We just write everything down in old notebooks and try to keep track of the bags and the weight. Ram Sundar handles a lot of the paperwork because he has the space in his house. It is a bit crowded sometimes with all the seed bags lying around. We just want to get a fair shake for what we grow in our fields. It isn't easy work, but we are all used to it by now.
