D S Patil Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 246/2 in Rahimabad. It is right there in the heart of the village. The building is an old one, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We have a big wooden door that is a bit hard to lock sometimes. Inside, there is a lot of paper and a few computers that we are still learning how to use properly. We mostly talk to people face-to-face rather than sending emails. Rahimabad is the kind of place where you don’t need a map to find someone. We spend our days dealing with the locals and making sure the crops are being handled the right way. It is not a flashy job. There is a lot of waiting around for things to happen. We have a small stove in the corner for making tea when neighbors stop by to check in. Sometimes the neighbors bring over some snacks to share too. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who grew up right here. We don’t use any of those big words you hear from people in the city. We just call things what they are. It is a bit messy sometimes, especially when we are really busy during the peak season, but we always find what we are looking for eventually. It is just us at 246/2 Rahimabad, doing the work that needs to be done for the company and for our neighbors. We just keep at it.
