Nambor Fed Bamboo is located in Kuruka Gaon, which is part of the Morangi area near Golaghat. We are right on the edge of the local landscape where bamboo grows thick. Our small office is a simple place where we manage the business for the farmers around here. We aren't a big corporation with lots of layers; we are just the people who live in the village and work the land. Every day brings something different, whether it is checking on a new patch of bamboo or figuring out how to get a truck through the narrow lanes of Kuruka Gaon when the weather turns bad. We spend a lot of time talking to the local growers, making sure everyone is on the same page about the harvest. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of dirt, sweat, and heavy lifting involved in moving bamboo poles. We focus on the day-to-day tasks like counting stock and organizing the laborers. We have been doing this for a while now, and we know these hills and fields like the back of our hands. People around here know us as the ones who handle the bamboo, and that’s fine with us. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure the bamboo from Morangi gets to where it needs to go. It is just life in the village, focused on the resources we have right here.
