Our branch is right on Dr. Dada Vaidhya Road in Panaji, specifically at House Number 136 in the Boca-De-Vaca area. It’s a part of town with a lot of history and old buildings. Our place fits right in with the local surroundings. People come in all day long to deal with their money, deposit checks, or just ask about their accounts. It can get pretty crowded on the first of the month when everyone gets their salary. We try to move the line along as fast as we can, but sometimes the computers are slow or there’s a lot of paperwork that needs a signature. We know the people who live in the neighborhood well. You see the same faces every week coming in and out. We don't use a lot of big words when we talk to folks about their finances. We just explain things as they are. The fans overhead hum all day to keep the Goa heat away from the counters. Outside, the traffic on Dada Vaidhya Road is always buzzing with scooters and cars. Sometimes we step out to the local tea stall for a quick break when things get a bit too much inside. It’s not a cold, sterile environment like some of those big modern banks in the city. It feels more like a part of the community. We've got posters on the walls and stacks of forms on the counters for everyone to use. It’s just how it is.
