Bohemian Wanderlust

We operate Bohemian Wanderlust out of the Ave Maria Guest House in the Naika Vaddo area of Calangute. It’s a lively spot to be, especially since we are so close to the Falcon bus stop. There is a restaurant right nearby too, so there’s always a bit of a crowd and some noise. We aren't a big, fancy resort with a private beach. We are just a simple place for people who want to see the real side of Calangute and Bardez. The guest house is older and has its quirks, like doors that squeak or the occasional power cut, but that’s just how it is here. We like the relaxed atmosphere of Naikawaddo. It feels more like a neighborhood than a tourist trap. We spend our time helping guests figure out where to eat or which beach is less crowded that day. It’s just a few of us running the show. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. We just answer the phone and try to keep the rooms tidy. Sometimes the street outside gets really loud with the buses and the tourists, but it keeps things interesting. It is a humble setup for travelers who don’t need luxury and just want a base to explore from. We’ve been here a while and we don't plan on changing much. We just keep the doors open and welcome whoever comes through.
