We are located in Alto Porvorim, right near the Volkswagen showroom. It’s a busy spot on the road and people often pop in while they are out doing their regular shopping or errands. Tara Leisure Travel is a small office. We have a couple of desks, some old maps pinned on the wall, and a lot of brochures that we probably should organize better than we do. We spend most of the day on the phone or looking at flight schedules on the computer. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of waiting on hold and trying to find a slightly better price for someone who wants to visit their family. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us. We’ve been helping people get from one place to another for quite some time now. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to print a ticket, which is always annoying when we are in a hurry. We know the local area well and we can usually tell you which roads are closed or which buses are running late today. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure your booking is done without any mistakes. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the places we’d like to visit ourselves one day when we have the time. It’s a simple business. We like talking to the regulars who come back every year.
