Latitude22 Travel

Living and working in Sangolda is quite different from the busier parts of Goa. Latitude22 Travel is tucked away here, far from the loud music of the beaches. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a room with some old maps pinned to the walls and a few computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of our time looking at flight schedules and trying to figure out train routes for people. The humidity in Goa can be tough on the electronics, so we’re always dusting things off. Sangolda has a lot of trees, which is nice when we step outside for a break. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything. Most days it’s just us in t-shirts, drinking local coffee and talking to people about where they want to go. Sometimes a neighbor’s dog wanders in, and we don’t mind. The internet goes out when it rains heavily, which happens a lot during the monsoon months. We just wait for it to come back and pick up where we left off. It’s a slow-paced life compared to the big city travel agencies. We handle the bookings and the paperwork without much fuss. There’s no big marketing strategy here. We just know the roads and the local spots. People find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. It is just a simple travel shop in Sangolda where we try to get things sorted for travelers.
