I’m usually around the office near Verna Church in Goa, just a short walk from Edmond Salcette’s place. It’s a quiet spot most days, though things get busy when the paperwork piles up. Being a Quality Assurance Officer isn’t always the most exciting thing to talk about, but it keeps me occupied. People around here know where to find us if they need something looked at. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we do our checks. Sometimes the humidity in Goa makes the files a bit damp, but we manage. I’ve been working here for a while now. Most mornings start with a cup of tea before I dive into the reports. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. It’s just how things are done in this part of Verna. I spend a lot of time double-checking numbers and making sure everything looks right on the forms. It can be tedious work sometimes, but someone has to stay on top of it. My desk is usually covered in folders. I try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant struggle with all the new stuff coming in every day. The neighbors are nice, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a good community to be a part of. If you’re ever walking by the church, you might see me heading in or out. It's a simple life, really.
