The Navhind Times, A Dempo Group Company

Started out in Goa a long time back. We’re over at Rego Bagh in Alto St Cruz, right by the Bambolim complex. It’s a busy spot, especially when the morning papers are going out and the trucks are all lined up. Being part of the Dempo Group means there’s a lot of history behind what we do every day. People come and go through the office, some bringing stories and others just looking for the latest news from around the state. It gets a bit loud when the presses are really going, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We have been sitting at 1504 for quite a while now. The building is easy to find if you know the area near the post office. Most of the staff here have lived in Goa their whole lives, so we know the local talk and what people actually care about when they sit down with their tea in the morning. It’s not fancy, just a lot of desks, computers, and people trying to get the facts straight before the deadline hits at night. We don't do anything too crazy, just stick to the routine and make sure the pages are printed on time. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Sunday without much of a break. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or the rain makes things difficult, but we keep the place running regardless.
