This branch is located in Nayak Nagar Colony, at 643N/15. It’s right near the Tarikhana Crossing, just off the main Sitapur Road in Lucknow. Being in a colony means we get a lot of local residents coming in for their daily banking. It’s not one of those huge city branches with fifty counters. It’s a bit smaller and more crowded. On Mondays, the line can get pretty long, and people sometimes get a bit frustrated with the wait. We try our best, but the computers can be slow sometimes, and there’s always a lot of paperwork to sign. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when it’s 45 degrees outside in Lucknow, it struggles a bit. There’s always the sound of the counting machine and people talking over each other. We have old wooden desks and chairs that have been around for years. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from Sitapur Road nearby, but you get used to it. We don't have fancy lounge areas for customers. It's just rows of chairs and a water cooler in the corner. We know many of the customers by face because they live just around the corner in Nayak Nagar. It’s just a regular neighborhood bank where we handle savings, pensions, and whatever else comes our way during the day. We stay until the books balance.
