We are located on the third floor of the Silverglade Apartments in Sarvedem, Margao. It’s Unit T-2. It’s a bit unusual for some people to find an office inside an apartment building, but it works fine for us. We have enough room for our desks and all the files we have to keep track of. Margao is a busy town, so being a little bit tucked away in Sarvedem gives us some peace and quiet during the day. Most of what we do involves coordinating things over the phone or through emails. We deal with medicine and healthcare related stuff, so there is always a lot of paperwork to fill out and keep in order. Sometimes the elevator in the building gets stuck, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs anyway. The office doesn’t have a big sign outside, so you have to know where you’re going or look at the numbers carefully. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and heat up our tiffins at lunchtime. It usually smells like fish curry or dal most afternoons. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform waiting at a desk. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us looking up from a laptop or a stack of papers. We try to stay organized, but with so many different things happening at once, the desks can get a bit messy. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people.
