National Engg.Works

National Engg.Works is based out of Nadora Wadi in Bardez, Goa. We operate from House Number 185, which is basically a workshop attached to the living quarters. It’s a traditional Goan setup where the business and home life kind of blend together. We’ve been doing engineering work here for a long time. The sound of tools and machines is pretty common during the day. It’s not a sterile environment; there’s grease, metal shavings, and plenty of dust around. We take on whatever work comes our way from the local area. People around Bardez know they can just come by the house if they need something fixed or fabricated. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people just talking to each other. We might not have the newest machines, but we know how to use what we’ve got. Sometimes we’re working late into the evening if a job needs to get finished, and other times it’s quiet enough to sit out front for a bit. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we take pride in the stuff we make. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a good service to the people in our village and the surrounding spots. It's hard work but we like it that way and we just keep going.
