Icici Bank Ltd

This is the Icici Bank Ltd branch over at Vaishali Apartments in Mangalore. We are right opposite the Mangala Stadium, which makes it easy to explain where we are to anyone visiting. The address is B-7 on the ground floor. It’s a decent-sized space but it feels more like a local spot than a big bank sometimes. We see the same faces coming in to deposit money or ask about their accounts. The stadium nearby gets quite loud when there's a match or an event going on, which we can hear clearly from our desks. We have a few counters and some chairs for people waiting. It's not a very fancy place, just a regular office with computers and files everywhere. Most of us have worked here for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well. Mangalore can get very rainy, and on those days, the lobby gets a bit crowded with people hiding from the downpour. We just go about our business, checking paperwork and helping folks with their banking needs. Sometimes the system is slow or there’s a long queue, but that’s just how it goes in a busy town like this. We don’t have any big speeches to give or special programs to talk about. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the cash is balanced at night. It’s a straightforward job in a good part of the city.
