Velalar Vidyalayaa Senior Secondary School

Our school is out in Thindal, which is a bit away from the main center of Erode. It’s a quiet area, which is nice for a school setting. The building is quite large and we have plenty of room for all the different grades. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of our days are spent in the classrooms or out on the field. We don't have any slick marketing or fancy talk. We just provide a place for kids to come and get their education. The staff is mostly local people from Erode. We know the families and they know us. There’s a lot of routine involved in running a senior secondary school. We have to prepare for the board exams and make sure all the paperwork is done correctly. It can be stressful at times, especially near the end of the year. The school grounds have some nice trees and we try to keep the place tidy. It’s a lot of work with so many students, but we do our best. We don't make big promises or use jargon. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done. Thindal is a good place for us and we’re happy to be part of the community here. We spend a lot of time checking the attendance books and making sure the classrooms have enough light. It's a busy life, but it's what we've chosen to do. We just keep the school running as best as we can every single day.
