Agaram Public School

Agaram Public School sits on the Karur Main Road, right in the Kolathupalayam area. It is a bit of a distance from the main hub of Dharapuram, but not too far that people can't find us. The address is technically Dasarapatti, and that is where the school grounds are spread out. When the sun is out, the whole place feels quite bright because there isn't much tall stuff around to block the light. The main road is always active with people traveling between Karur and Dharapuram. We have a lot of students who come in from the nearby villages every morning. You can see the yellow buses parked in a line near the entrance. The building itself is sturdy and has been through many seasons. We have different sections for the younger kids and the older ones, and the hallways can get quite loud during the breaks. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the usual charts and things the kids make in class. The playground is mostly dirt and grass, which is where the kids spend their lunch hour running around. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going in the classrooms. The teachers have their own small room where they keep their books and eat their lunch. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need to do every day and keeps the kids learning.
