We spend most of our time climbing over stuff or using the hand truck to move piles around. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a nice waiting room with magazines. Instead, you’ll find a busy floor where people are constantly counting items and checking invoices. The noise from Gujarathi Road is always there in the background—horns honking and people shouting. We’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the city and the way business happens here. We don't have a corporate structure with levels of management; we just have a few people who know where everything is kept. Sometimes we lose track of a specific box for a minute, but we always find it eventually. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s a good kind of busy. We just keep moving the stock and making sure the orders are ready for the local shops. Dealing with different suppliers every day keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast.
