Symega Foods

We are located at 475 in Synthite Valley, which is part of the Kolenchery area. It’s a good spot for what we do. The surroundings are actually quite green, which makes the walk into work a bit nicer. We focus on food ingredients and spent most of our time in the lab or the warehouse. It’s a lot of testing and tasting and making sure the batches come out the same way every time. The floors are kept very clean, and we have to wear those hairnets and coats, which can feel a bit funny at first. We aren't big on talking about ourselves; we mostly just talk about the products we’re working on. There is a lot of specialized equipment around, and it hums all day long. Sometimes we have visitors from other companies, so we have to tidy up the front area a bit more than usual. The break room has a window that looks out over the valley, and it’s a good place to sit for ten minutes when things get hectic. We have a mix of young people learning the ropes and older staff who have been here since the start. It’s a decent balance. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture in the office, just what we need to get the job done. It’s a serious place of work, but we still find time to joke around when the boss isn't looking. We like it here.
