Susthira Stones And Msand Llp is based at the Thuruthiyil House over in Pulluvazhi. Our building number is Rp 1/699, which is easy enough to find if you are in the 682025 Ernakulam area. We spend most of our time dealing with heaps of sand and crushed stones. It’s a grit-under-your-fingernails kind of job. The yard is always busy with trucks coming in to get filled up with M-sand for various construction projects. We started this because there was a need for these materials in this part of town. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and take the payments. Most of the real work happens outside in the sun. It gets pretty loud when the machinery is running, and the dust is everywhere. We don’t mind it much though. It’s part of the trade. People from around Ernakulam come to us because they know we have the piles of stone ready to go. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to get the trucks loaded and sent out on time. Sometimes the weather makes the sand heavy and hard to move, but that’s just how it goes in Kerala. We keep things basic and don’t use any fancy talk. If you need sand or stone, we show you the pile and that’s that. It is simple enough for anyone to understand. We like the routine here.
