Kaitharan Tiles & Granites

We are located at number 6 on AM Road in Perumbavoor. It’s a fairly straightforward place to get to if you know the area. The shop is filled with different kinds of tiles and heavy granite slabs. Moving those around is a big part of what we do every day. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the afternoon, everyone is usually a bit tired. The road outside stays busy with vehicles passing through. We’ve got our slabs leaning against the walls, and the patterns on the stone always look different depending on how the light comes through the front door. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. It’s just the name on the front and the stock we have inside. Sometimes people come in just to feel the texture of the granite or see how the tiles look in person. Perumbavoor can get quite warm, so we keep the fans going most of the time. The floor is mostly covered in stone dust, no matter how much we sweep it. We deal with a lot of local folks who are building or fixing up their homes. It’s a nice enough spot to work from. We’ve been on AM Road for a while, and we know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a small community of businesses here, and we all just kind of get on with our own thing. Nothing too complicated about it.
