Surya Rocks

Surya Rocks is located out in Kanjoor Village, which is part of the Angamali Block. We are right on Kanjoor Road, so it’s pretty easy for the trucks to find us. This isn't an office in a city building; it’s more of a rugged site where we deal with stone and rock materials. There is always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machinery in the background. We spend our days measuring loads and making sure the right types of rocks are being moved out to the construction sites. The district around here is mostly green, but our yard is full of grey and brown stone piles. It is hard work and the sun can be quite hot in the middle of the day. We have a small shed where we take our breaks and keep the records. It is a very basic setup because we spend most of our time outside anyway. We know the roads around Angamali quite well since we are always coordinating where the next load needs to go. The people working here are mostly locals from the village. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team; we just talk to people who need rocks for their building projects. It’s a dusty, loud, and honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a long time now.
