Spanita Stones

Working here involves a lot of heavy lifting because stone slabs are not light. We spend our days moving inventory around and showing different pieces to people who come by. The shop is mostly open to the air because we need the space for the large stones. You end up with a lot of dust on your clothes by the end of the day. We have been in Edapally for a while now and we have seen many changes in the streets. People come in with their builders or sometimes just by themselves to see what we have in stock. We do not have a sales team or any corporate talk. We just walk around with the customers and show them what is available in the yard. The traffic on the road can be a bit much sometimes but it means people see our shop. We have stacks of stone everywhere and it looks a bit like a maze. We usually take a break in the afternoon when the sun is really strong. The work is steady and it keeps the team busy throughout the year. We like seeing the houses that get built using our materials. It is just a small local business.
