Glamour Marbles

Our shop is located right on the NH Bypass in Palarivattom. It’s a busy spot, so you can't really miss us if you’re driving through. We deal in marbles, mostly. We’ve stayed in this same location for years because it’s easy for the trucks to come in and out from the highway. The noise from the traffic is constant, but we’re used to it by now. We carry different types of marble slabs and some tiles too. It’s not a huge showroom with air conditioning, just a practical space where we display the actual stone. When people come in, we just show them what’s currently in the stacks. Sometimes the stock changes depending on what arrives from the quarries. We spend a lot of our day moving slabs around with the crane or talking to contractors who need specific sizes. Dealing with natural stone is tricky because every piece looks a little different, and we have to explain that to people. We don't do any fancy sales pitches. If you like a piece and the price works, we load it up. The bypass gets crowded in the evenings, so we usually try to get our heavy loading done earlier in the day. It’s just me and a couple of guys working here. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't make a big fuss about things. It's just a regular yard with plenty of stone to look at.
