Mgm Laterite Stones

You’ll find Mgm Laterite Stones over at 313-A on the Pulikamali Pambra Road. We focus on laterite because that’s what people around here use for their houses and walls. It’s heavy work, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. Our yard isn't much to look at, just a lot of reddish-brown stone blocks and a small shed where we keep the tools and the paperwork. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, someone will probably come out from the back with dust on their hands to talk to you. We source the stone locally and try to keep enough in stock so people don't have to wait. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather doesn't cooperate, but we do what we can. We’re just a small group of people trying to make a living. We don't use any high-tech equipment, mostly just the same methods that have worked for a long time. It’s a bit of a quiet life out here on Pambra Road, which we like. We know most of the regular contractors by name. We don’t have a big story to tell, just that we are here every day except Sundays, getting the stone ready for whoever needs it for their project. It’s practical, hard work and we take a bit of pride in knowing these stones build local homes.
