Flavatree is located in Thevara, right at Bharaniprambil House in Jyothi Nagar. It’s a nice residential-feeling area in Kochi, close to the Konthuruthy side. We handle various foods and beverages from this spot. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It makes the whole environment feel a lot less formal than those big glass towers in the city center. We spend our days tinkering with recipes and figuring out the best way to bottle or pack things. Since we are in Thevara, we get a lot of the coastal breeze, though it still gets quite hot in the summer. The team is small, just a few of us who have been together since the start. We don't have a big chain of command. If something needs doing, someone just grabs a tool and does it. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We aren't interested in sounding like a giant corporation. We’re just a local Kochi outfit trying to make food and drinks that people enjoy. The house in Jyothi Nagar is always full of crates and boxes, sometimes spilling out into the yard. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a quiet life, except when the delivery trucks are pulling in. We don't put out fancy brochures or run big campaigns. We just make our products and get them out to the shops.
