Muvattupuzha is a good town, and we are located right by Nehru Park. It’s a nice spot because of all the trees and the people walking their dogs or taking their kids out. We handle food items, mostly things that are packed and ready to go. It’s a small operation. We don't have many people working here, just a couple of us who keep the place running. The shop is usually quiet during the day, but it picks up when the park gets busy in the evening. We get our stock from the distributors every Tuesday, and that is usually the hardest day because of all the heavy lifting. We don't have a big office or anything corporate like that. It’s just a room with some counters and shelves. Sometimes the crates get left out on the sidewalk for a bit while we make space inside. We keep things simple. If you need some flour or a packet of biscuits, we have it. We don't spend money on ads or flyers. People find us just by walking past. The building is simple, and we try to keep it clean, though the dust from the road always finds its way in. It’s a practical business. We show up, open the shutters, and sell what we have. It’s a decent way to live in a place like Muvattupuzha.
