Santosh Refractories

Santosh Refractories is located on Gandhi Road. We are very close to the Mahavir Mandir and just a short walk from the Dhanbad Railway Station. It is a very crowded part of town. There is always the sound of trains and people rushing around outside our doors. We have been here for years, dealing with heat-resistant materials. The shop is full of firebricks and heavy linings. It gets quite warm inside during the summer, but that is part of the job. We do not have air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day. Most of our customers are from the local industries or workshops that need materials that will not melt. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out receipts by hand. The location is good because people can find us easily when they get off the train. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is more like a warehouse where things are stacked wherever they fit. Sometimes it is hard to navigate through the aisles because there is so much stock. We are just regular people trying to run a business in a busy city. We do not have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just sell what we have and try to be fair with everyone who walks in. It is a noisy, dusty, but honest way to spend the day.
