Usha Martin Ltd., Ranchi

We've been at this spot in Sindri for a while now. It’s K4-18 in Saharpura, if you know the area. Dhanbad can get pretty dusty and loud with all the industrial stuff going on, but our little corner is mostly just us getting through the workday. There isn't anything fancy about the office. It is just a place where we come to handle the Usha Martin Ltd. business for the Ranchi branch. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that is just how it is living in this part of Jharkhand. The post office is right there in Sindri, which makes things easier for mail. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address people look for. Most days it’s just about answering calls and dealing with the paperwork that piles up on the desks. We know the neighbors around here and they know us. It feels more like a home sometimes than a big company office because we've been in this building so long. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and the fans just move the warm air around, but we stay busy. It’s a practical setup for what we need to do. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big glass buildings. We just stay here in Saharpura and keep things moving as best as we can every single day. That's pretty much the whole story of us being here.
