This particular spot is a bit different because we are located within the ISM University area in Dhanbad. We are currently over at the Dept of E & I, staying with Dr. Debjani Mitra for the time being. It is an academic atmosphere around here, very different from a standard industrial office. You see students walking by with books and professors rushing to their next lecture. Being part of the Steel Authority Of India Ltd but based in a university setting means we get to see a lot of the research side of things. Dhanbad is known for its coal and industry, so it makes sense for us to have a presence right here at the source of so much knowledge. The office isn't very big, mostly just enough space for the essentials. It gets quiet during the exam seasons, which is a nice change from the usual city noise. We have been managing things from this Po ISM address for a while. The desks are a bit cluttered with papers and technical drawings. It’s a very practical arrangement. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. People who need to find us usually know where the department is. It feels like a very grounded place to work, surrounded by books and the next generation of engineers who are always busy in the labs nearby. We just keep up with our work and enjoy the quiet environment of the campus.
