General Refractories

Out here in Village Marma, things move a little slower than in the big cities. We are located at Post Mugma, which is right near the main road so it’s not too hard to find us if you’re looking. General Refractories has been part of this landscape for a while. We are out in the Dist. area, surrounded by a bit of green and a lot of dust from the road. The main road is always busy with people traveling through, but once you step into our yard, it’s all about the work. We deal with refractory materials, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff from one pile to another. The sun gets really strong out here in Marma during the afternoons. We usually have a break under the shade when it gets too much. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the area like the back of our hands. It’s a simple life at the shop. We don’t have any fancy computers or high-tech systems, just a lot of ledgers and physical work. People stop by to chat or ask for directions because we are so close to the road. We just keep things running as best as we can. It’s noisy when the machines are on, but quiet in the evenings after everyone goes home to the village. It is just a regular day for us out here.
