Arun Refractories

We have been working out of Village Chirkunda for a good while now. If you know the area, you know it is mostly industrial and tough work. Being so close to the Kumardubi station helps us get things in and out without too much trouble, though the traffic near the tracks can be a real headache sometimes. People around here usually just call us Arun. We deal with refractory materials, which is basically stuff that can take a lot of heat. It is not a clean job. There is always dust on the floor and the sound of machinery going. My brother and I started this because there was a need for it in the Taluka. We don't have a fancy office or any of that. Usually, you will find us out in the yard or checking on the stocks. We just try to get the orders right and make sure people get what they paid for. Sometimes things get delayed when the rain is heavy, but that is just how it goes in Chirkunda. We have a small crew who have been with us for years. They know the routine. We are not looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to keep the gates open and keep working. If you are coming from the station, just look for the sign near the bend. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It is honest work and it keeps us fed.
