We are located at Plot No -4831/24 on Prahlad Gali, right in the heart of the Darya Ganj book market. It’s a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a struggle with the boxes and the crowds. We handle a lot of international titles and academic books. The office is basically just one big room full of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the top, and it’s a bit shaky sometimes. We’ve been at this for several years now. It’s a lot of manual labor, packing and unpacking crates every morning. We don't use much fancy software, just a lot of notebooks and lists. The air is always a bit dusty from all the old paper. We stay open late most days because there’s always one more order to finish. Ansari Road is a tough place to work sometimes because it's so crowded, but it's where the books are. We know the other shop owners around here. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving. There isn't much room to sit down, so we're usually on our feet. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and come to see what we have.
