New Friends Book Depot

You can find New Friends Book Depot at V-885, Nai Sarak. This street is famous for books, and we are right in the heart of it. It’s a crowded place, especially during the school season when everyone is looking for textbooks. Our shop is small, and sometimes it feels like the books are going to fall off the shelves. We try to keep things in order, but with so many people coming in and out, it gets messy pretty fast. We’ve been on Nai Sarak for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We stay because we know the area and the people here. We don't have a computer system for our stock; we just know where most things are by memory. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. The tea seller next door is a good friend, and we spend our breaks chatting on the sidewalk. It’s a noisy, busy life here, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We aren't fancy, and we don't pretend to be. We just sell books to whoever needs them. If you’re walking down Nai Sarak, look for the V-885 sign. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down, helping people find what they need for their studies. It gets hot in the summer but we have a fan.
