Capital Book Depot

We've been at Plot No. 4060 for quite some time now. Being near Jama Masjid and Nai Sarak means it gets pretty busy around here, especially with the crowds from Chandni Chowk coming through. It’s a tight space but we manage to keep things organized enough so people can find what they need. Most days it’s just us handling the stacks of books and making sure everything is where it should be. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, and sometimes the dust gets to be a bit much, but we keep at it. People come in looking for all sorts of things, mostly school stuff or reference books that they can't find elsewhere. Capital Book Depot doesn't have a fancy setup or a website that works properly, so most folks just walk in after seeing the sign. The noise from the street is always there in the background while we work. It’s just a regular shop where we sell books and try to help out the students who stop by. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There isn't much to say other than we're here every day except Sundays. If you are walking down Nai Sarak, you'll see us right there. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside when it’s raining, but we make do with the room we have.
