We are located at 98-A in the Hindi Park section of Darya Ganj. If you know anything about this part of the city, you know it’s famous for books and publishing. Taxshila Parkashan is just one of many places in these narrow streets, but we like our little corner. Darya Ganj has a specific kind of energy, especially on the weekends, though our spot by Hindi Park stays a bit more predictable during the week. The building at 98-A is an old one, full of character and probably a bit too much dust from all the paper. We spend our days dealing with manuscripts and proofs, mostly just trying to get the details right. It’s a lot of sitting and reading, then more reading. The local tea stall is where we spend most of our breaks. We don't have a big corporate office with leather chairs. It’s mostly just stacks of paper and old wooden desks that have seen better days. People who visit us usually comment on how many books are piled up, but that’s just how we work. It’s not about looking fancy; it’s about getting the printing and the words sorted. Darya Ganj can be a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find Hindi Park, we are right there. We’ve been part of this community for years, seeing the changes in the industry while we just keep doing our work from this same address.
